About

Hey! My name is Natalie

Finding the right therapist is not just about credentials. It is also about feeling understood, safe enough to be honest, and supported in a way that actually helps you move forward.

I work with adults and teens across California who may look high-functioning on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, relationship patterns, mood-related challenges, and the pressure to keep it all together. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply hard on themselves. They often know something needs to change, but feel stuck in patterns they cannot simply think their way out of.

my story

I became a therapist after struggling with my own mental health for many years. Therapy changed the way I understood myself, my pain, and what healing could actually look like. That experience shaped not only my path into this work, but also the way I show up with clients: with compassion, honesty, and deep respect for how hard it can be to ask for help.

During my time at UCLA, I volunteered on the suicide hotline for three years. That experience strengthened my commitment to this field and showed me how powerful it can be to feel seen and supported in moments of pain, fear, and uncertainty.

my approach

My approach is relational, thoughtful, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can better understand yourself while also creating real change in your daily life.

I draw from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, emotionally focused work, family systems, trauma-informed approaches, and attachment-based perspectives. Depending on your needs, our work may include exploring longstanding emotional patterns, building coping tools, understanding your relationships, increasing self-compassion, and creating more grounded ways of moving through the world.

I believe healing does not need to come through shame, pressure, or perfection. Therapy can be a place where you feel deeply understood while also being gently challenged toward something different.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to being the one who keeps going no matter what. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you are looking for a therapist in California who will meet you with warmth, depth, and practical support, I would be glad to connect.
